Summer - Fall Art Happenings
This has been a busy summer with art exhibits and family travel. In
late July I will be visiting Provence with my daughter and her family.
We will visit the hilltop villages and historical towns of the Cote d
Azur. My dream is to paint where Vincent did in Arles. This will be the
trip of a lifetime for an artist.
I have paintings in several shows with more planned in the next few
months. Here are some of the highlights and the schedule for the
upcoming events.
In May I painted in the 31st Carmel Art Festival. We had great weather,
a wonderful opening gala and avid collectors. Several of those
paintings will be at Viewpoints Gallery for my show in August.

INTO THE WOODS
at Viewpoints Gallery
In August I will be the featured artist with new paintings celebrating
the beauty and majesty of California's diverse and breathtaking trees
and landscapes. I hope to transport the viewer into the outdoors
through the beauty of these stunning cypress, pines, oaks and
eucalyptus that make California so unique. I look forward to welcoming
you to this celebration of California's arboreal wonders. Opening
reception August 2nd, 5 to 8pm.

"Serendipity" the MBPAPA Signature Member Show opens at the Pacific
Grove Art Center, Annand Gallery in Pacific Grove with the reception
July 5th. The show runs till to August 29, 2024.

I have three paintings juried into the Coastal Arts League of Half Moon
Bay's yearly Plein Air Show. Iconic California opens July 4th and runs
till August 25th in Half Moon Bay.
Reception: Sat., July 6th, 1 - 4.

I an honored to have a painting selected for the 93rd Annual Statewide
California Landscape Exhibition by Juror Calvin Liang.
Reception August 2nd, First Friday, 6 to 8. The show is from July 19th
to September 14th.

16th Annual Celebration of Art Grand Canyon
I am thrilled to be once again invited to the Celebration of Art at the
Grand Canyon National Park. It is a wonderful tradition and annual
event that includes a week of plein air in September, an online
auction, and a public opening that debuts a four-month-long exhibition
and sale of the 24 invited artists' work.
